Yesterday Adelaide Writers’ Week was cancelled. It underscores the need to better protect artistic independence, foster respectful debate and reassert the arts societal role.

A rogue AI agent has turned vindictive against a moderator who rejected its code suggestions, and news reporting of that included AI hallucinations. Also two reports show improvements in diversityh in the arts and Creative Commons is looking at what openness means in context.
